Ah, see my first comment. there's always that little aside when using the mnemonic.
What about February??? How many months have 28 days??? eh eh...
What is this knuckle calendar you speak of? How very strange are your customs.
Jennarenn, I just start over on the same hand instead of switching--it has the same effect.
I have always used the knuckle calendar and find it very handy.
Get it? Handy?! I slay me.
easier shmeasier. I've never been able to remember that mnemonic. But good comment nonetheless.
You can also use your knuckles. Start at the left knuckle on your left hand. That's January. It has 31 days. Next, point to the space between that knuckle and the following. That's February. It has fewer than 31 days. March, May, and July round out the knuckles on the left hand. April and June are in the spaces. After July, you switch to your right hand and August is on your first knuckle. Etc., etc., etc. I promise that it's easier than it sounds.
Q: How many months have 28 days?
A: All of them.
Except February, which has twenty-eight, or twenty-nine in a leap year.
